High School Orchestra
The
Skyline High School orchestra prides itself on dedication
to the traditions of orchestral music.
In the SHS orchestra students learn to build on advanced
concepts of string playing, as well as learning about
important concepts such as dedication, teamwork, and
reward for work well done.
In
the past few years the SHS orchestra has given memorable
performances of works by Mozart, Haydn, Bach, Vivaldi
and Grieg. The work ethic necessary to perform such
complex masterpieces engenders the students with positive
habits and experiences that will last a lifetime.
The
chief requirement for this course is dedication to
the art of music.
