Mock
Trial
Students
with an interest in the law and debate (or acting)
will find Mock Trial fun and challenging.
Students
immerse themselves in the details of a criminal case
and legal procedures with the help of an experienced
attorney coach in preparation for an actual trial.
Teams
from several area
high schools compete in the actual trial, held in
a courthouse, with one team acting as the prosecution
and one acting as the defense.
