Choral
Department Allegro Singers
The
Allegro Singers, a mixed choir of 16 members, is one
of four performing ensembles within the Skyline High
School Choral Department. Enrollment is by audition,
and open to 10, 11 and 12th graders. Each choir is
year-long course. All choirs compete at festivals
and state competitions, and are active in the community.
Choral
concerts this year have been extremely well attended
and well-received, with standing ovations and many
positive comments from parents, staff, and the community.
The department presents four choral concerts a year.
This
year on April 11, three ensembles, Falconnaires, Allegro
Singers and Concert Choir participated in the CHSAA
Large Group Festival. The Allegro Singers received
a cumulative Superior (I) rating. The participation
of these choirs was a first for Skyline.
