Heidi Ringer holds a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.A. in Administrative Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Colorado at Denver. Heidi taught mathematics at Skyline High School for 10 years and was the mathematics co-department chair for five of those years. She was the recipient of the Presidential Award in Mathematics and Science Teaching in 2006. After accepting the job as an assistant principal in 2007, she coordinated the implementation of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and VPA (Visual & Performing Arts) Academies which began in the fall of 2009. Heidi was named Principal of Skyline High school in January of 2013.
Chris holds a B. A. in Mathematical Sciences from The College of Wooster and a M. A. in Educational Administration & Supervision from The University of Phoenix. He taught high school mathematics for 14 years; four years in his home state of Ohio and ten years in SVVSD. He has also been the SVVSD summer school principal for the past five years. Chris has coached numerous sports and was named NWCC (Ohio) basketball coach of the year in 2002. He was named Dean of Students at Skyline in 2013.
Laurieann holds a BA in Deaf Education and Elementary education from the Minot State University. Next, she obtained her Masters in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She furthered her education at the University of Phoenix to acquire her Principal licensure followed by attaining a Special Education Director licensure from the University of Northern Colorado.
Laurieann started her administrative career in 2004 and has experience at both the district and school level. She is excited about working and living in the St. Vrain Valley School District, and this will be her second year at Skyline High School.
Michael holds a BA in Physical education from the University of Northern Colorado. He holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Northern Colorado. Michael has taught Physical Education, Health and Strength Training for 19 years at the high school level. He has over 20 years of coaching experience in Basketball, Football, and Track as a Head Coach. In addition to his coaching and teaching career, Michael has been an Athletic Director for the past 10 years.
In 2007, he took an administrative position at Rifle High as the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director. He takes over at Skyline High School in the same capacity and is eager to lead the athletic department in a new direction with a vision for future success both on and off the field of competition.
