We, the Skyline High School Visual Arts Department, are dedicated to providing a challenging interdisciplinary curriculum which inspires academic and artistic excellence for a culturally diverse population. We are committed to a personalized atmosphere of self-esteem, respect, enthusiasm and cooperation. With the guidance of our professional faculty, the students will learn to build both theoretical and practical foundations, expand their vision, and explore new avenues of expression.
In order to graduate from Skyline
High School, students must
earn a total of one-half (.5) Fine
Arts credit during their freshman,
sophomore, junior or senior
years. The Fine Arts credit
may be earned by taking one
semester class chosen from Art,
Music, Theatre or Yearbook
courses.
All art classes have fees for materials
that may range from $25
to $30 per term and are due and
payable by the second day of
class.
The fees students pay for art
courses are used to purchase the
materials directly used by each
student to produce art projects.
Fees are not used to purchase
equipment.
If a student has difficulty paying
course fees, he or she should not
hesitate to see an administrator.
Skyline High School does not
want any student to miss out on
a class because of an inability to
pay fees.
